CENTRAL ZONE CHALLENGE

2010

The Pinetown Gymnastics Club hosted the 2010 Central Zone Challenge competition for the Boys Levels Bronze - Gold and Girls Levels 1-3 on the 10th and 11th of June.

Over 300 young gymnasts from KZN - Free State (North and South) - Northern Cape - Gauteng North and the North West competed over the two days.

It was good to see the number of MAG competitors coming up in the lower levels.

Support from the gymnasts parents, family and friends was formidable with Allan having to bring in extra seating to accommodate all the supporters. The gym was set up on both floors in WAG configuration on Wednesday night to allow for 2 levels to  complete simultaneously throughout Thursday.  Allan and his support staff then worked late into the night on Thursday to reconfigure the green floor for the MAG competition on Friday. In spite of one of the toilets flooding on Friday morning the competitions ran smoothly and on time - Well done Allan and the support staff!
